Donner is being raised in the heart of a loving family, surrounded by children, other dogs, and all the beautiful, sometimes noisy, wonderfully unpredictable experiences that come with everyday family life. We believe puppies thrive when they're given opportunities to experience the world in a safe, loving environment. That's why our early development program includes Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), age-appropriate sound desensitization, gentle daily handling, and intentional positive socialization. From the sounds of a busy household to the warmth of loving hands, these experiences are thoughtfully designed to encourage confidence, resilience, adaptability, and trust.
And because we know that bringing a puppy home is both exciting and a big responsibility, we work hard to prepare Donner for that transition. Before going home, he'll be introduced to crate training, potty training, basic manners, and early leash and car experiences. Our goal is for our puppies to become comfortable sleeping in their crates overnight, make excellent progress with potty training, and develop positive associations with the routines of family life. We want our families to spend less time feeling overwhelmed and more time enjoying those precious first moments together.
Our dedication to Donner's future began long before he was born. At Angel Pups Deluxe, we carefully select our breeding dogs and invest in comprehensive genetic health testing to help protect our puppies from preventable inherited diseases. We thoughtfully pair our parents to minimize the risk of producing puppies affected by the genetic conditions we can screen for. We believe responsible breeding is about more than creating beautiful puppies—it's about making thoughtful decisions today that give them the best possible foundation for a long, healthy, happy life.
Perhaps one of the most meaningful parts of our work is seeing what our puppies become. Many of our Angel Pups have gone on to serve as therapy dogs, emotional support animals, and service dogs, offering comfort, companionship, and life-changing support to their families. While every puppy develops his own individual temperament, and specialized roles require additional training and evaluation, we intentionally nurture the calm, trusting, people-focused foundations that can help make these extraordinary partnerships possible.
When we imagine Donner's future, we picture so much more than a beautiful dog.
We picture a little boy who might someday climb onto the couch and tuck himself into the space between his favorite people. A faithful companion stretched out beside the fireplace while the family gathers for Christmas.
